This is an original stock certificate from The Bellevue Land and Improvement Company, dated 1892, printed in brown. Features a vignette of an American bald eagle with spread wings perched on a shield bearing 'E Pluribus Unum,' with olive branches and arrows in its talons.
This certificate was issued and has been cancelled with multiple punch holes across the face and includes a purple cancellation stamp, indicating it was redeemed. The document shows age-appropriate wear and discoloration consistent with its 130-year history, lending character to this piece of 19th-century financial ephemera.
